The other day I was searching for some paper textures for another Photoshop tutorial I wanted to do and I was having some problems. My Photography Tutorials - 360 Degree Reverse Photography - Gallery
In order to create a , you do not need to be an expert photographer or own expensive photography equipment. You just need to have a standard SLR camera, tripod and a 360-degree panorama software package and of course a good panorama to shoot. Follow these successfully achieving professional results in . First, pick a spot that is equidistant from every point in your photo. Second, pick a lightly overcast day, to achieve consistent lighting across the entire photo. Thirdly, ensure that your camera is affixed to the tripod, which is sitting on a flat surface. Shoot the first frame, and with the use of the tripod, rotate the camera in a clockwise direction so that the first and second frames overlap by 30 to 50 per cent, otherwise your photos will have lines, distortion or missing portions. Continue to rotate the camera clockwise in approximately 25-degree increments, overlapping each photo as before. There are so many different photos that you can take with your SLR camera.
Quick Tip: Remove a Person From a Photo With Photoshop CS5’s Content Aware Feature
With the launch of the new Adobe Suite of programs comes the long awaited Adobe Photoshop CS5. Packed with new features to speed up your workflow it truly is the most advanced edition of Photoshop to date. One of the new features we will be looking at today is called Content Aware. This feature allows you to quickly fill in a selection with surrounding content making it look like a part of the original image. In this case we will choose to remove a person from a photo, this can be done in less than five minutes. Original Image Before we begin, download the image that we will be working with. Step 1 Using the content aware tool on different images produces different results. Step 2 We are extracting the person on the left from this photo. Notice in the image below how far I am drawing the path from the subject. Step 3 Once you complete the path around the subject, turn it into a selection. A dialog box will pop-up, make sure the feathering is set to 0px. Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 (Optional)
Spaghetti and Meatball Pot Pie
Remember those meatballs I made for a “special idea” on Friday? Here is that idea, Spaghetti and Meatball Pot Pie. I took the concept and figured if pizza was a good pot pie, then spaghetti and meat balls would be too. This isn't as much a recipe as it is a process. I started by greasing the inside of ramekins (1 cup sized, 3 1/2” in diameter). Then I put in a mix of white and mild cheddar cheese. Next I add in two of the meatballs and sauce. Top that with some vermicelli that had been tossed in the sauce too. Another piece of cheese. For the crust, we made one order of our standard pizza dough and then cut out 3 1/2” circles. I rolled those out a little bigger and then pressed them over the top of the ramekins. Since I wanted the crust to be reminiscent of garlic bread, I made a glaze of butter, roasted garlic, parsley and thyme. I fired up Alexis' Big Green Egg to 450f and set it up in “convection oven” mode with the plate setter legs down. About 15 minutes in, they started to brown.
