How the media sensationalizes paleo Sometimes all you can do is laugh. I love this new piece at Time: Should you eat like a caveman? It's a perfect example of how this whole paleo concept can be sensationalized — by the press AND by practitioners. But it's important to take these issues head on because as this paleo approach grows, this type of thing is going to happen more often. It all went down at the De Vany book-signing a couple weeks ago. After the talk, this smart, sexy, firebrand of a reporter approached me about the potential conflict between Dan Lieberman's research, which points to the importance of endurance running in human evolution, and some of the paleo community, which tends to emphasize the role of high-intensity, "move like your life depends on it" exercise in human evolution.

Hunt.Gather.Love. Welcome to version 2.0 of HuntGatherLove. I started this site four years ago as a place for my thoughts about food and diet. Turns out my views have evolved quite a lot since then and this page has gone through several versions. Anarchy in 12th Century EnglandThe Anglo-Saxon Chronicle paints a sobering picture of life in 12th century England that contrasts strikingly with Hollywood's image of the Middle Ages.

List of colors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - StumbleUpon The following is a list of colors. A number of the color swatches below are taken from domain-specific naming schemes such as X11 or HTML4. RGB values are given for each swatch because such standards are defined in terms of the sRGB color space. It is not possible to accurately convert many of these swatches to CMYK values because of the differing gamuts of the two spaces, but the color management systems built into operating systems and image editing software attempt such conversions as accurately as possible. The HSV (hue, saturation, value) color space values, also known as HSB (hue, saturation, brightness), and the hex triplets (for HTML web colors) are also given in the following table.

Large T-Shirt to Fitted Tee Tutorial I have these two t-shirts that I love. They're soft, comfortable, and have good worn (and sentimental) designs on them. But, I never wear them for anything other than around the house because they are large men's t-shirts and look completely shapeless on me. Then I found this great tutorial on YouTube for how to make a big t-shirt a fitted shirt! - T-Shirt Surgery: How to Make a Shirt Fit So, while I was staying with my mom at her camper this summer (she lives & travels in an RV), I asked her to help me try it out.

Eight Types of Hecklers and the Comedians Who Shut Them Up In the 2007 documentary Heckler, Joe Rogan says that “the number one thing about hecklers is 100% of them are douchebags.” A stand-up comedian’s act depends on the audience reaction by nature, but when someone attempts to derail the performer’s work, well, that’s something a douchebag would do. Still, heckling creates exciting moments of discomfort for the audience, and hecklers have instigated some great moments in comedy (Bryson Turner’s comeback) as well as some terrible moments (Michael Richards incident).
