Coca-Cola Cupcakes - StumbleUpon I don’t drink coca-cola. But I do eat it. Weird. It’s way better eaten. There’s some dark and white sugar cooked with dark dutch processed cocoa powder…and a can of coke! There’s some the ol’ that pouring into this and this pouring into that. There’s some mixing. Take a little PAM and spray the liners–this is a sticky cupcake batter. UPDATED TIP ALERT: A few of you tried this recipe and sprayed them and the cupcake still stuck. These cupcakes are chocolately, decadent, rich and kind of amaze. This frosting isn’t frosting–it’s just whipped cream. And guess what? Next, cherries on top! P.S. Coca-Cola Cupcakes Recipe adapted from Baked: The New Frontier Yields 15 cupcakes Print this recipe! Cupcakes: 2 cups Coca-cola (do not use diet!) Whipped Cream Frosting: 1 1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract Maraschino cherries (for topping) Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies Alright, confession time. My first impression of these cookies was not a super positive one. I mean, don’t get me wrong…I love a good chocolate chip cookie. And Oreos easily top the list among my favorite “store bought” cookies. I am really not even sure how to describe these. Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe from the fantabulous Jenny of Picky Palate 2 sticks (1 cup) softened butter 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar 1 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 tablespoon pure vanilla 3 1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 10 oz bag chocolate chips 1 pkg. Makes about 2 dozen VERY LARGE cookies. stumble

Chocolate Coffee Cake-Chocolate Cake Coffee-Coffee Cakes-Yeast Cakes Posted by Grace Massa Langlois on Friday, 18th February 2011 This week has been an especially difficult week and I wanted to bake something extra special. I thought I was entitled to indulge a little and I decided to make Yeasted Chocolate Coffee Cake. When I think of comfort food, chocolate, homemade bread and cake are on the top of my list. Unfortunately homemade bread and happy memories wasn’t going to “cure what ailed me” (really bad week) but adding a little chocolate (Chocolate makes you happy, right? Baking also helps me to relax. As I am writing and sharing with you today, I realize I could’ve probably baked anything. It’s just an added bonus that I chose to combine three of my favourite comfort foods and bake this amazing Yeasted Chocolate Coffee Cake. I’ll leave you with this thought, a steaming hot mug of freshly brewed coffee, a slice of warm, freshly baked, Yeasted Chocolate Coffee Cake and “The River” blaring in the background, this will definitely “cure what ails you!”

chocolate souffl&233; cupcakes with mint cream | smitten kitchen - StumbleUpon I’m clearly some sort of grinch, because when I think of flourless chocolate cakes I imagine giant discs of truffle so dense and overly rich that even a sliver of somehow feels excessive, the kind of throwaway dessert restaurants bust out when they’ve got no better ideas. “Add a couple out-of-season, eerily red raspberries and a tuft of whipped cream from a can and it will, without fail, sell,” I imagine sinister managers instructing kitchen staff. Like I said, I’m a total pill. However, when the same flourless chocolate cake is treated like a soufflé — eggs separated, yolks beaten until ribbony and whites whipped until weightless, then gently folded in — and then placed anywhere in my proximity, all bets are off. But we should really talk about this thing nested in the fallen center of the cakes: white chocolate mint whipped cream. A Blast From the Past I’m just finishing up the photos for my next recipe, but since we’re entering into flowery, lovely springtime, I wanted to bring this quick and easy—and too precious for color TV—dessert idea from my archives. I first posted it back in 2007 as I was making my way through a little recipe book I used in high school, and my girls plan to make some this weekend. I expect you to have a freezerful of these delights by 5:00 this evening. Back on the golf course, I used to have a traditional back-to-school party for my friends and me every year. Anyway, for the party after my sophomore year, I made these delightfully fun little flower pot desserts. Okay, so they didn’t actually say those things. What I’m trying to say is, I have a few unresolved issues I need to work out. The Cast of Characters: Ice Cream, Pound Cake (make your own or just use frozen), Oreos, and Gummy Worms (optional.) Note on the clay pots: Try to look for those pots that are lead-free. But hey! (Oooh! Okay, how ’bout now?

Someone Left The Cake Out In The Rain - StumbleUpon Oreo Fudge Bars Well, first of all, I’m having a fantastic time in New York, even if it is our third time here in three years. We were in the city for one night, then Brooklyn for 2 nights, and now we’re visiting some of Kramer’s family in Westchester. I should also mention that Kramer and I got engaged on January 2nd while in Central Park! We won’t be getting married until after I graduate from school (December 2009), but we’re going to enjoy our engagement for now and that’s plenty of excitement for me. Thank you to everyone for all of the well wishes! We’re thrilled to finally be engaged after more than four years together. Anyway, these bars are out of this world. You don’t need much. Crush your Oreos in a food processor (ideally) or by hand with a rolling pin or some other bludgeoning object (what I did). Mix the melted butter in with the crushed cookies, press into your prepared pan, and set aside. Melt together the chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, vanilla, and condensed milk.

Chocolate Cupcakes with Flaming Strawberries - StumbleUpon Call me easily amused, but these little torch-topped cupcakes delight me. Besides being a cute novelty item for a party, I think they would add a little drama to the end of a romantic meal. I've been looking for something different to serve for Valentine's dessert, and this is definitely different. For the cake portion, I chose a One Bowl Chocolate Cupcake recipe because 1. it's quick 2. it is easy, and 3. it fits my prerequisite for a light ending on date night. I should say, a light ending provided you don't eat too many. The cakes are just sweet enough, and have a light, fluffy crumb - the perfect vehicle for rich chocolate buttercream. Notes for flaming strawberries:Any alcohol below 80 proof will not ignite well. Shaina made a margarita version of this on Babble Food. Chocolate Cupcakes with Flaming Strawberries Yield: About 20 cupcakes [click to print]Cupcakes: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin tin with cupcake papers and set aside. Hollow the strawberries carefully.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles I’ve never liked chocolate chip cookies. Go ahead and throw tomatoes at me if you’d like, but I don’t like ’em. They’re just a plain old cookie, after all, with a few studs of chocolate chips in them. I know there are plenty of cookie-dough-nay-sayers out there… you know, the salmonella scare and all . Chilled dough is rolled into 1-inch balls. Those chilled dough balls are dipped in chocolate and then placed onto waxed paper to set. I dipped a few in Ghirardelli White Chocolate Bark and a few in the Chocolate version too. Oh yeah! Yield: 3 to 4 dozen truffles Prep Time: 45 min + chilling time Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles Best served cold, these treats are for cookie-dough lovers. Ingredients: Directions: 1. 2. 3. Tips: *I used the Ghirardelli Candy Making Dipping Bar- both Double Chocolate and White flavors. *Have your own favorite cookie dough recipe?

One Bowl Vanilla Cupcakes For Two | How Sweet It Is - StumbleUpon Let’s face it: sometimes we all need a dessert that only makes two servings. Sometimes we just can’t handle 12 servings. Sometimes we eat them all by ourselves. Sometimes we eat them all by ourselves in two hours. FYI: I have no idea what that is like. Haven’t you always wished you could make just enough dessert for yourself? Or… just yourself? Me too. But more often than not, I’ve found it to be a hassle to drag out the mixer, cream the sugar and butter, sift the dry ingredients and all that fun stuff for a measly two cupcakes. What can I say? Well, I was lazy. It is definitely your typical white cake; fluffy and soft, full of vanilla flavor, and the perfect vehicle for some fluffy white frosting. And it only takes one bowl! I think what I love most about these cupcakes is their customizability. [print_this] One Bowl Vanilla Cupcakes for Two serves 2 1 egg white 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla (yes, a full teaspoon – they are super vanilla-y!) 1/4 cup flour
