Celebrities Before and After Photoshop This is an interesting look at celebrities photos before and after photoshop. These can give you a feel of what it takes for a person to look beautiful at all times. No wonder we, ordinary people, are left with a great deal of pressure of looking our best at all times, a high goal that is impossible to reach. Impossible even for our God-like role-models. TrustoCorp – Satirical Upstart Art TrustoCorp. It sounds as if it might be a global organisation bent on domination from a film such as RoboCop or Blade Runner and perhaps they may just as well be. Although the truth is somewhat different very little is known about this mysterious artist (or perhaps collective). One thing is known – TrustoCorp’s work is becoming more and more recognized and popular. There are some for sure who know who TrustoCorp is (or are) they are keeping their lips tight shut.

Finger Knitting How-to You know how I just wrote about how I like getting a handmade gift more than just about anything. Well, this is anything. Sitting on the couch on a lazy Sunday, knitting with my kids . . . that beats gift-getting for sure. It is a gift itself. We just sat there side-by-side, for about an hour, feeling the warmth from each other’s bodies, listening to music from my computer and basking in each others company as the sun streamed through the windows. Still life: Bent objects & OWNI.eu, News, Augmented - StumbleUpon UPDATE: The Return of Bent Objects Wires transform these objects from inanimate to hilarious works of art. Little polish girl McDonalds as Sculpture Materials Pouring Light Lamp by Yeongwoo Kim Pour Me Some Light Human actions play such a significant role in design; it’s either evident in the form or in the function. In the Pouring Light, the action is evident in the form and is delightfully executed as well! With the motive of giving off “an emotional flow of light”, the lights linger on with a mesmerizing effect thanks to the use of phosphorescence in the “water” part.

Circle Zip Earbud Pouch Tutorial - Dog Under My Desk I use a little zippered pouch to carry around my earbuds since they are the fancy microphone ones and I don’t want them to break or get tangled. Some of you have commented that you are looking for some small, simple gift ideas. This is definitely simple to make, and a little more fun than the typical rectangular zippered pouch! I can see these as the perfect gift for teenage cousins or nieces or girlfriends or even teacher gifts.

Crystal River - The most beautiful river on earth [Pics] Cano Cristales - Crystal River. River of five colors, as the locals call it, originates in the south of the mountain chain Macarena, Colombia, and flows eastward to its confluence with the Guayabero river. In the Cano Cristales found five colors: yellow, blue, green, black and red. All of them are waste product of many algae and, depending on time of year, color saturation, or weakened or strengthened. Al Farrow: New Reliquaries. Religious sites built from ammunition and firearms. San Francisco artist Al Farrow uses ammunition and parts from firearms to build miniature churches, synagogues, and mosques. This is heavy stuff, literally and figuratively. Meighan over at My Love for You just stopped by Catherine Clark Gallery where he’s showing some of his latest work, and captured some awesome shots. The show runs through May 28. (images via my love for you and catherine clark gallery) Arrow bracelet - #2 Friendship Bracelet Tutorial After you've done a few successful strip bracelets (pattern 1), you're ready to do the arrow one (chevron, #2). For this bracelet you need to know both forward and backward knots. When you're doing the arrow bracelet, you need two strings of each colour. That means that when you're doing a bracelet from eight strings, you need four colours. You are working from both sides with two string of the same colour, which are then tied together in the middle to create a 'V' or an arrow. The strings should be the same length as while doing the striped bracelet (1 metre).

Split Family Faces Cousins: Justine, 29, & Ulric, 29 How much do you and your family members really look alike? Quebec, Canada-based graphic designer and photographer Ulric Collette has created a shockingly cool project where he's exploring the genetic similarities between different members of the same family. By splitting their faces in half and then splicing them together, he creates interesting new people that are sometimes quite normal looking and other times far from it. He calls this series Genetic Portraits. (Did you notice that Ulric, the photographer, is one-half of some of these pairings?
