EDC Flowers in Ultra-Violet The compilation of species will continue to be updated at irregular intervals. All species listed here have been documented, and links are added whenever I can find spare time for updating. These images are made for illustrative purposes, not as artistic statements per se. However, there are lots of food for thought in the convoluted ways Nature expresses itself, so for once the artist can step backand let the subjects speak for themselves. "Das Ding an Sich" to paraphrase Kant, or Eigenvalue of Nature. If you are unfamiliar with the botany, just select any species indicated as having a "strong" response to learn how this looks. However, not all species have the typical bull's-eye UV pattern, which may be confined to symmetrical flowers. The UV range of the spectrum has no predefined colours, so we are free to assign any colour we like. UV fluorescence may be a common trait to most flowers, but might be of temporary occurrence for parts of the flower.
Which psilocybin mushrooms grow wild in my area? Throughout the world the species Panaeolus cinctulus (= P. subbalteatus) and several active species of Gymnopilus grow. Rather than create entries for countries, states and provinces which would then have nothing else listed, it is probably a good assumption that these mushrooms grow in those places not listed. If they are not listed for your area, mentally add it. When researching your mushrooms be aware that many have more than one name. It may be that two names that were thought to be different were shown to describe the same fungus, or that it was moved to a new genus, or a whole host of reasons. For example the mushroom Panaeolus cyanescens was once placed in the genus Copelandia and you will therefore sometimes see it written as Coplandia cyanescens. Amanita muscaria can be found in all 50 states and in most countries.Though Psychoactive, it is not a psilocybin mushroom so it does not appear in this list. 'Sp.' Better Writing Through Writing About Writing | Brain Hacks for Writers My life is fairly crammed, and writing time is hard to come by. Today I got one of those precious blocks of time in which I could write for several hours almost without interruption, yet as I fired up the computer, I felt not excited about the prospect, but worried and on edge. I also felt a little unsure: I had several projects I could be working on and was waffling on which one to choose. I could have just plunged in and begun working on whatever seemed easiest, most obvious, or most attractive, and if I got deeply enough into the writing that I achieved flow, that might have gone well. So instead of starting by writing, I started by writing down my thoughts about writing. Just writing freely about problems is a good approach, but it can be especially effective to write to a specific purpose. How to grow a Rainbow Rose, Naturally In 2004, two dutch companies, River Flowers and F.J. Zandbergen, experimented and successfully grew a rose that had its petals rainbow colored. As petals get their nourishment through stem, the idea is to split the stem into several channels and dip each one in a different colored water. This way all the colors will be drawn by the stem into petals and resultant rose will have all the colors in it. The same method can be applied to other flowers especially to Chrysanthemum and Hydrangea. You can use the same idea to color any flower, anyway you like. Marijuana and the Brain, Part II: The Tolerance Factor Marijuana and the Brain, Part II: The Tolerance Factor The architects of marijuana prohibition have long maintained that tolerance to cannabis means the same thing as tolerance to addictive drugs like cocaine and heroin - that users need more and more to get high, driving them to crime and desperation. Now, the federal government's own research indicates that precisely the opposite is true. Science has finally caught on to what tokers have known all along: With marijuana tolerance, you have to smoke less to get high! High Times correspondent Jon Gettman explains the latest findings and how they discredit the government's drug policy. by Jon GettmanHigh Times, July 1995 One of the safest qualities of THC, delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary psychoactive substance in marijuana, is the natural limit the body places on the drug's effects. It has long mystified scientists how most individuals can consume enormous quantities of marijuana with few or no obvious ill effects. Dr. [End]

This is why we need legal bud. There are so many different parts to a high, and different strains that could potentially be sold at dispensaries offer specific effects you didn't even know you you were looking for. by element4l Nov 10
