Microsoft Pulls Prank / Company takes browser war to Netscape's lawn Microsoft pulled an early- morning prank straight out of the frat comedy "Animal House" on rival Netscape Communications yesterday. But Mountain View-based Netscape quickly exacted its own "Revenge of the Nerds." The high jinks started about 1 a.m., when a team of Microsoft engineers placed a car-size logo for Internet Explorer (a giant "e") on the front lawn of Netscape's headquarters. Hours earlier at Fort Mason, Microsoft had released Explorer 4.0, the next version of its browser. The Explorer team also left a greeting card with the picture of a grumpy baby with the note: "It's just not fair. About the only thing missing were strips of toilet paper on Netscape's front lawn. "It was all done in the name of fun," a Microsoft spokeswoman said. Some officials at Netscape, which competes against Microsoft with its Navigator browser, weren't laughing. "They have resorted to immature fraternity tactics to get attention," a Netscape spokeswoman said.

As for your example "When the pregnant woman came back from the leave" - if she was on the leave, what was the quality work that she was doing - that makes her as eligible as others, who were actually at work? Also, lets say the particular position (which she was competing for before deciding to get pregnant) - is a position of some critical decision making - and given that she missed out on key learning experience leading up to that position - and suddenly after long time away from work, she is given the command of key position - who will be responsible for the mistakes/losses that might happen? If work/career is so important - then why even bother getting pregnant? As for husband's role, compromises and all - there are examples of all kind. On the bold part - of course there are some jerks who use 'rosy' phrases to control the other, but it happens from both sides. P.S.

This happened two days before the brave boy was to appear in court and testify against the rapists. Sintu Kumar of Garabigaha village died after a group of men torched his house. The arsonists included five villagers who had allegedly raped his mother six years ago, his mother Karuna Devi said. On the basis of an FIR lodged by his mother, the police have registered a case against nine persons. Karuna said her son was to appear as witness in the district court on Tuesday. "They were threatening him to not appear in court. Neighbours took Sintu to a hospital, where he succumbed to 90 per cent burns. A senior police officer said Sintu was mentally challenged and set the house on fire himself. Logiciel parfait pour retoucher mes photos ! Passionnée depuis toute petite par la photo, j’ai toujours pensée que c’était réservé à une élite, à des personnes qui avaient d’importants moyens financiers… Si le matériel photo est cher, il en est de même pour les logiciels de retouche… Après des années sans avoir touché un seul appareil photo, le désir de reprendre la photo est tout naturellement revenu après la naissance de mes enfants, devenus mes principaux sujets en portrait et autres types de prises de vue. La difficulté avec mes chers bambins, comme pour beaucoup d’enfants, est qu’ils ne sont pas simples à photographier en mouvement, quand ils jouent par exemple. Je me suis souvent retrouvée avec des photos gâchées par des éléments disgracieux en arrière-plan ou bien souvent par des personnes inconnues, dans les lieux publiques. En discutant avec un ami lui aussi passionné par la photo, la question d’utiliser un logiciel de retouche photo est posée. Je me lance alors sur internet pour faire quelques recherches.
