Everything Anonymous Operation Payback brings you #OpSony Dear Greedy Motherfuckers SONY, Congratulations! You are now receiving the attention of Anonymous. Your recent legal actions against fellow internet citizens, GeoHot and Graf_Chokolo have been deemed an unforgivable offense against free speech and internet freedom, primary sources of free lulz (and you know how we feel about lulz.) You have abused the judicial system in an attempt to censor information about how your products work. Your corrupt business practices are indicative of a corporate philosophy that would deny consumers the right to use products they have paid for, and rightfully own, in the manner of their choosing. If you disagree with the disciplinary actions against your private parts domains, then we trust you can also understand our motivations for these actions. Let Anonymous teach you a few important lessons that your mother forgot: 1. 2. 3. We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not Forgive. We do not Forget. Expect us.

Wikileaks' Julian Assange exposes truth about evil empires and their war on journalists, whistleblowers (NaturalNews) Wikileaks' whistleblower Julian Assange rocked the world today, delivering a speech from the balcony of the Ecuadorian embassy in London. Assange had recently sought political asylum from the government of Ecuador, and he was granted that asylum by Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa. Shortly after being accepted into the embassy and treated with great compassion by the Ecuadorian staff, Julian was threatened by the terrorist government of the UK. In all this, Julian Assange has emerged as the moral hero, besieged by powerful, corrupt empires intent on crushing the truth and suppressing journalistic freedoms. Even in the face of great evil, Assange found the strength to lay out this fundamental truth: "The United States must pledge before the world that it will not pursue journalists for shining the light on the secret crimes of the powerful," he said today. Watch Assange's speech on TV.naturalnews.com: Latin America hates the USA.

Donations pour in for PS3 hacker; Sony court battle continues George Hotz is in the middle of what could be a long, punishing legal battle with Sony, and his money is running out. "Media, I need your help. This is the first time I have ever asked. Please, if you support this cause, help me out and spread the word," he wrote on his newest blog entry. "I want, by the time this goes to trial, to have Sony facing some of the hardest hitting lawyers in the business. Together, we can help fix the system." Ars Technica contacted Hotz's lawyer to make sure this plea for cash was legitimate, and attorney Stewart Kellar confirmed that yes, the money raised goes to Hotz's legal fund to fight Sony. This isn't about piracy "I am an advocate against mass piracy, do not distribute anyone's copyrighted work but my own, do not take crap lying down, and am even pro-DRM in a sense," Hotz said. Recently Hotz also took to YouTube to rap at Sony. Hotz assured everyone that despite the rapping, he's serious about raising money to fight back.

WikiLeaks and the Global Future of Free Speech Ecuador has acted in accordance with important principles of international human rights. Indeed, nothing could demonstrate the appropriateness of Ecuador’s action more than the British government’s threat to violate a sacrosanct principle of diplomatic relations and invade the embassy to arrest Mr. Assange. Since WikiLeaks’ founding, it has revealed the “Collateral Murder” footage that shows the seemingly indiscriminate killing of Baghdad civilians by a United States Apache attack helicopter; further fine-grained detail about the true face of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars; United States collusion with Yemen’s dictatorship to conceal our responsibility for bombing strikes there; the Obama administration’s pressure on other nations not to prosecute Bush-era officials for torture; and much more. Predictably, the response from those who would prefer that Americans remain in the dark has been ferocious. All such allegations must be thoroughly investigated before Mr. Mr. If Mr.

Anonymous Gets Serious, Attacks Sony Employees Infamous hacking group, Anonymous, began a series of attacks against Sony earlier today, bringing down several Sony sites and the PlayStation Network. However, a radical offshoot of the main group believe that the attacks aren’t enough, and are prepared to take the fight to a more severe level. Initially claiming that they would seek revenge against Sony for their legal action against Geohot and other PS3 hackers, the group successfully DDoS’d PlayStation.com and the PlayStation Store under a group called OpSony. Now, a more more aggressive and darker group called SonyRecon have begun a series of more personal attacks. Speaking on the OpSony IRC, user randomtask announced his new group: ok i made a chan #sonyrecon for people to gather and contribute dox, and work towards a common goal of finding and information and detailing useful targetssome one got the phone number of the head of the sony company in #sonyrecon Update: Other Dox attacks highlighted by the group could include:

The Spy files WikiLeaks: The Spy Files Mass interception of entire populations is not only a reality, it is a secret new industry spanning 25 countries It sounds like something out of Hollywood, but as of today, mass interception systems, built by Western intelligence contractors, including for ’political opponents’ are a reality. International surveillance companies are based in the more technologically sophisticated countries, and they sell their technology on to every country of the world. But the WikiLeaks Spy Files are more than just about ’good Western countries’ exporting to ’bad developing world countries’. Selling Surveillance to Dictators When citizens overthrew the dictatorships in Egypt and Libya this year, they uncovered listening rooms where devices from Gamma corporation of the UK, Amesys of France, VASTech of South Africa and ZTE Corp of China monitored their every move online and on the phone.
