Rolled Paper Roses Welcome to flower week – five days of simple and delightful flower projects. I could probably do three weeks of flowers because there are so many different ways to create them, but I’ve limited it to five of my current favorites. Before we get started, let me make a few disclaimers: 1. I find inspiration for projects all over the place {online, in shops, in magazines}, then figure out how to re-create them on my own. Each of these projects are my adaptation of something I’ve seen elsewhere.

Watch Free Movies Online – Full-Length Streaming Movies This Week's Recommended Sci-Fi Hollow Man Expires: 8/1/2015 This Week's Recommended Thriller How to Watch Movies in the Theater for Free Wise Bread Picks I know this sounds amazing, and there's a kicker — you can see these movies in theaters for free BEFORE they're released to the general public! It sounds too good to be true, but it can be done really easily. For the past year or so, I have been attending movies in theaters before they've been released. I pay nothing to see them, and to top it off, there are often no previews, so 100 minutes actually means 100 minutes. Some movie studios provide free screenings of movies. How to make gift bags from newspaper When I bought something at a store recently, the clerk handed me my purchase in a bag made from a newspaper. I liked it very much and had to make some more—thus today's DIY recycled newspaper project: gift bags made from the Wall Street Journal. You can vary the dimensions, of course, but here's what I used to create a bag that's 5" tall, 4.5" wide, and 3" deep. Stack two sheets of newspaper on top of each other. This will be a two-ply bag for extra sturdiness. Cut out a rectangle that's 15.5" wide and 8.25" tall.

Google Translate Beatbox Not sure if this falls in the category of Easter Egg or clever manipulation, but either way, there go our afternoons: Redditor harrichr has devised a scheme for turning Google Translate into a makeshift beatbox machine. 1) Go to [1] Google Translate2) Set the translator to translate German to German3) Copy + paste the following into the translate box: pv zk pv pv zk pv zk kz zk pv pv pv zk pv zk zk pzk pzk pvzkpkzvpvzk kkkkkk bsch4) Click “listen”5) Be amazed :) For the lazy, just click this link and it’ll be done for you. There’s nothing magical about this particular sequence, and there’s tons of room for experimentation: In German, anyway, “pv” and “zk” make complementary breathy sounds and clicks, respectively.

Shabby Flower Pillow Sometimes, ideas in my head don’t always turn out as planned. And sometimes, they turn out better…. After running across Sweet Jessie’s Scalloped Garland tutorial a few months ago, I wanted to take the same technique and use it to make a shabby, fun, linen pillow. Soda Machine Hack Most modern vending machines have little computers inside. A tiny screen usually displays some information. Although relatively little known, pressing a certain combinations of buttons can control the settings. For instance, you can check the internal temperature, view the amount of money inside, empty change, or dump certain beverages. It will generally only work on new machines which is pictured on the right side. Press the buttons [4] [2] [3] [1] one after another.

V and Co how to: jersey knit bracelet i don't know what it is about this time of year that makes me just want to have my bare feet in the sand, be watching the sun setting into the ocean, and breathing in the warm salty air of the beach...as i get older, more and more i find myself missing that place i used to go to almost every.single.day. as a teen. (my skin doesn't miss it. as a matter of fact, i now wish i listened more and DID put SPF on my face...hindsight is 20/20). my mom calls me from her walk on the beach almost every morning...*sigh*yeah, i get a little homesick around this time of the year. heck on my pinterest my "dreaming of summer" has the most pictures in it. ah yes. i miss my ocean. case in point. this bracelet, brought a flood of memories, not because i used to have one like it but because i can totally see me wearing it by the beach, not caring that it's gotten salty and wet, because i can totally make another one in like less than 5 minutes flat when i get home.

Speakers That Think Outside The Box Your computer has a paint job similar to a Ferrari. Your phone looks like an alien communication device. Your wallet is made of recycled rubber. You clearly aren’t a person content with coloring in the lines or thinking inside the box when it comes to design, so why should your speakers be so… conventional? Snap out of the fiberboard sound tomb you’re used to with these speakers that think outside the box.
