Watch biking and parkour blend into pure awesomeness - The Feed Blog (CBS) - Do you like when one sport meets another sport and becomes something even better? Me, too! So on that note, check out this blend of biking and parkour into pure awesomeness. The amazingly sweet, ultra-extreme video was created by Andrew Dickey while riding around Melbourne in early 2012. Our response to it can be summed up in one word: wow! Famous Quotes are Paired with Clever Illustrations Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based illustrator Tang Yau Hoong has just released a brand new series where he pairs one of his older illustrations with a famous quote. A few years ago, we discovered Hoong and we quickly became fans after we saw his ability to cleverly incorporate negative space into many of his works. As he told us then, "I enjoy making illusion art because it has the ability to mislead us. We rely on sight in our lives and yet it is so fragile that we could easily be deceived by what we see."

Yuki Matsueda - StumbleUpon ‘While most designers are busying adding more and more elements into their artworks, Japan-based Yuki Matsueda has, however, managed to let some elements escape from his art pieces. The result seems quite amazing… A vivid 3D image is successfully created and all the elements are believed to be more shocking than those stay still on paper.’

Stunning Oil Portraits by Harding Meyer Brazilian-born artist Harding Meyer lives and works in Berlin and Karlsruhe where he paints these stunning, large-scale oil portraits. I imagine nothing short of standing in front of these giant canvases truly does them justice, but you can see them in extremely high resolution over on Meyer’s blog. His work will appear in a number of group shows later this year at Würth and the Arts and Museum Dr. How I Can Afford My Life Of Constant Travel I’m confused. I’m simply confused as to how it’s possible that I have so far failed to properly explain how I’ve managed to travel/live/work abroad nonstop for 12 years straight (and counting). The questions are still pouring in every single day: How do you do it? How is it possible to travel for so long? Still life: Bent objects & OWNI.eu, News, Augmented - StumbleUpon UPDATE: The Return of Bent Objects Wires transform these objects from inanimate to hilarious works of art. Little polish girl Post-Apocalyptic Images of Japan The ruins and haikyo aficionado in me couldn’t resist making a post about Tokyo Genso‘s fabulous art depicting post-apocalyptic Japan. The illustrations have a breathtaking otherworldly quality that perfectly capture the sort of scenes I regularly come across while exploring ruins, albeit of course, on a much grander and majestic scale. Some of the scenes really aren’t stretching the truth that much either. Head into the backstreets of Japan and you’ll quickly find dilapidated old buildings and creeping plants reclaiming man-made structures for mother nature.
