За проект конституции проголосовали 88 депутатов. Согласно документу, Крым "является демократическим правовым государством в составе Российской Федерации". "Территория республики является единой и неделимой и составляет неотъемлемую часть территории Российской Федерации", — говорится в конституции. После голосования депутаты встали и аплодисментами приветствовали принятие крымской конституции, после чего в зале прозвучало два гимна — государственный российский и гимн Республики Крым. Председатель Государственного совета Крыма Владимир Константинов подчеркнул, что новая конституция открывает большие перспективы для крымской государственности.
