Summer is almost over so it's time we look into back-to-school crafts, such as DIY Lunch Bags.
This month’s Whimseybox included samples of a new product, called Ink Effects, from our friends at DecoArt . Ink Effects is a fabric transfer ink that allows you to paint an image on ordinary printer paper and then iron it on to a textile.
I love this DIY canopy bed made from curtain rods and drapes. Remodelista had it listed on their blog and I think it’s a fantastic example of an easy and elegant way to make this style of bed for less.
Well before this blog was a twinkle in my eye, I was making headboards instead of buying them. DIY headboards are nothing new and I’m sure you’ve seen a ton around blogland. They are all over the “land” because they are one of the easiest and cheapest updates you can make to a bedroom – with very little time and moola you can have a custom piece for your room.

This bat chandelier is inspired by one that Pottery Barn Kids had for sale a few years ago. Their version had felt bats (and you could do that too!)

Sur la table blanche customisée d'un simple masking tape noir et blanc, on aperçoit (cliquez sur la photo pour l'agrandir) une poire en verre, une bouteille de rosé anciennement bien frais bien agréable, un cheval en porcelaine et un autre en plastique le tout barbouillé de peinture ardoise sans sous-couche, sans gesso, sans rien quoi, même pas peur.
