LG 32LH7000 review from the experts at whathifi. What Hi Fi Sound and Vision Fri, 17 Apr 2009, 4:00pm For Decent styling intuitive interface complete, full HD specification strong tuner colourful, clean video images clear sound Against We've seen truer black levels LG has steadily been making waves in the TV market thanks to a series of solid-performing TVs coupled with some versatile HDD-equipped sets that proved equally adept. This model sticks to the business of watching TV and video but once more shows much promise. Certainly in terms of build and styling LG has managed to set its TVs apart. Striking looks, technically adept The LG stands tall and proud on its swivel stand, making for a rather imposing but good-looking unit compared to other sets in its class.

Technically the LG has all the bases covered with a 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, 1080p/24fps compatibility, four HDMI inputs, 100Hz motion processing, built-in Bluetooth and a USB input. Thankfully, the performance of the TV does its best to make a similarly forceful impression. LG 32LV550T review from the experts at whathifi. What Hi Fi Sound and Vision Fri, 10 Jun 2011, 9:50am For Promises much and delivers the goods excellent picture solid smart TV offering Against Sound could be better no 3D We were underwhelmed by the bigger brother of this set, the LG 42LV550T, when we tested it.

This 32in set is more affordable, but only just – and with no price advantage over its peers, it could be a tough task for this LG. Thankfully it wouldn’t be the first time different size screens have enjoyed varying degrees of success. LG’s new Smart TV portal is your entry-point for most of these features. A redesigned, bright and breezy ‘Home Dashboard’ does the job of gathering up and presenting all your content: BBC iPlayer, movies on demand from Acetrax, apps for YouTube and Facebook, a web browser – not to mention the promise of more in future via LG’s App Store.

The screen itself is slender and nicely turned out, made possible by the edge-lit LED backlight, which allows a slimmer chassis. See all our TV Best Buys. It's hard to know where to start when describing how great this TV is but first of all there is one point to mention that will be important to a lot of people. This model I'm reviewing is the 570T but the one I actually bought is the 575T which is identical to this for spec, including the price, except that it has wifi built in so if you do want a wireless internet connection then look at that model instead. I couldn't find it on here and I think it's excursive to high street shops but either way it's the same TV other than the wifi.

The picture is stunning. Over the years I've had a Samsung DLP, Sony LCD, Samsung plasma then a Panasonic Plasma. This LG blows them all away in terms of quality, the colours are richer and sharper than I've ever seen before. There's more detail in the background, people look so real that they could be in the room with you and if you have any doubts over whether to go for plasma, LCD or LED (which are almost the same thing) then my advice is to go for LED.
