Posted on June 10, 2011 by Chris Leonard. Here’s another phenomenal move down for the British Pound against the Swiss Franc (GBPCHF). Here we have a short trade on GBPCHF which I entered on May 20th, four days after the red trigger bar which appeared below all the major moving averages on May 16th. I must have deliberated a little before entering my trade trying to wait for a nice pullback, but ended up getting in at the original Trigger Bar close, which is perfectly good enough for me (as long as I don’t deem the risk as being too high). The GBPCHF move was a slow starter but eventually got going and dropped hard. I was able to get my stop down to breakeven soon after the drop using StopTrail™.

Having been short the Aussie Dollar against the Swiss Franc since the 19th of May, my trade is looking pretty nice right now. After a red trigger bar on the 16th May below all the major moving averages, I gave the price a little room to breathe and entered my trade after a moderate pullback.
