I am a fun loving and down to earth kind of gal. My life, for the time being, is mostly devoted to my children. This is the most important job that I have. I love to laugh and try not to be too serious. I have struggled with my weight my whole life, but recently have "discovered" the mistakes that I have made in the past and what is needed to overcome the dangerous path that so many of us are on. In January of 2009 I quit a 23 year smoking habit and piled on even more weight. Even while doing tae-kwon-do 5 days a week, I still gained weight. Desperate and unwilling to buy new, bigger clothes, I joined Weight Watchers and began the journey to the "new me". This process forced me out of my bad eating habits and opened my eyes to the emotional crutch that I use food for. Unfulfilled in my martial arts class, I decided to find a new workout that fit my personality. TurboJam was that workout. I love the music and Chalene Johnson really is a super motivator. I have since completed P90X, Chalean Extreme, and TurboFire. I am starting a Chalean Extreme/TurboFire hybrid August 1st. I am seriously addicted to my workouts and have seen a complete body transformation. I am still a work in progress, but I can not tell you how much better I feel physically and emotionally since I am "healthy" again.
