Obama’s Super-Czar Is on the Loose

Obama’s liberal media supporters have rationalized the tyrannical maneuver as a response to GOP “nullification.” But it’s those who oppose common-sense reforms of the gravely flawed Dodd-Frank law — a 2,600-page monstrosity that no lawmaker read before passing it — who are obstructing good government. As Senate Republicans have been pointing out for months, Dodd-Frank threw out judicial review, removed CFPB from the congressional appropriations process, provided five-year tenure protection for the director and transferred the agency from the Treasury Department to the opaque and unaccountable Federal Reserve.

Obama and Democratic leaders themselves recognize the recklessness of vesting so much unfettered power in a single individual. Daily Presidential Tracking Poll. House Passes Bill To Grant Congress Veto Power Over White House Rules

The measure, dubbed the Regulations From the Executive in Need of Scrutiny -- or REINS -- Act, would require Congress to sign off on any new rule estimated to cost more than $100 million. It passed 241 to 184, with a handful of Democrats crossing the aisle. The REINS Act is only the latest of a slew of bills aimed at peeling back regulations, which House Republicans have pushed for in the name of cutting red tape and freeing up businesses. The GOP sees the regulations as overbearing rulemaking by unelected bureaucrats.

"Who do the regulators answer to? "When the regulators go to work everyday, like most people go to work, their work assignment's a little different," Poe said. Rep. Ron Paul Says U.S. Troops in Australia Is ‘Mischief’

“We are so broke and there’s no hesitation with this administration or with previous administrations to continue to go in more and more countries,” Paul said. “My position has been very clear, we spend way too much money overseas, it’s a good place to start bringing the troops home from around the world.” Paul said Obama does not agree with stance of bringing U.S. troops home that are based internationally. “He thinks we need more troops spread around the world. Paul pointed to the fact that the U.S. is in debt to China and said while we are sending troops to Afghanistan and China is investing in their mineral resources.
