Like 90% of the technology industry, I am hopping on a plane later this week to Austin, Texas for the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. For the next week, nerds will be partying nonstop, debating the next big trend or which startup is the “winner” of SXSW (previous winners Foursquare and Twitter have done pretty well, so it’s actually an important battle). I fly in on Friday, March 9th, and will be hitting the trail hard for meetings, parties, startup judging, interviews and the occasional morning mimosa. It will actually be my first time there. I’d love to connect with as many people as possible when I am down in Austin, so I’ve decided to publish part of my schedule.

If you’re like me, you may have noticed that Twitter may be arbitrarily, randomly, and haphazardly, unfollowing people you fully intended to follow. Similarly, if you’ve ever noticed your friends and contacts unfollowed you, it may have caused a sense of confusion, dread, or self-insecurity. Before one spirals into a series of apologies or deep-depression, it’s likely not your fault, (whew!).
