Lutz lights or scheinwerfer by David Oelschlägel. Lights Are Upon You Go on, brush your shoulders off. You’d better be clean when those big ol’ stage lights get a’blarin on you. Those barn doors are wide open, and you’re sweating bullets! But these aren’t them, no! These babies were made by David Oelschlägel to be living-room versions of the lights used in films, transforming them into what amounts to a metal frame, semi-translucent black material, and a lightbulb. Red fabric coated flex and two red adjusting screws for flair! Designer: David Oelschlägel. Flowall Lighting System by Jiel Park aka Songjae Park. A Wave of Lights Love this concept of Flowall Lights, where it can be used as an elegant bed head or artwork in the living room.

A swathe of vertically oriented modules glide up and down to create an illuminating effect with varying intensities. The more you push the module up, the brighter the illumination. Needless to say LEDs are used to create the mesmerizing effect. Really neat! Designer: Jiel Park aka Songjae Park. Scent – Incense Stick Mood Lights by Kyu Hyun Lee & Hae Won Jo.

Sweet Fragrance Of Lights Incense sticks play such an important role in our spiritual life; they exude a sense of wellbeing, peace and calmness when we light them. Keeping this in mind and taking inspiration from their soft glowing tips is the Scent – Incense Stick Mood Lights. A bunch of them charge in a base station and can be placed individually or collectively, as you please. The only way I can think of improvising this, will be to add in a aroma dispenser…making it a total replica of the real thing! Interestingly, Scent won a silver place at the recent KOIZUMI International lighting design competition for students. Designer: Kyu Hyun Lee & Hae Won Jo. Star Lamp by Alisha Larsen. Starry Lights Of Origami The Star Lamp is a very versatile piece, transforming from a tabletop, floor, hanging to a wall mount with ease. The Origami influence is quite evident in the stylish folds of the hood and simplistic layout.

The translucent grey polypropylene disperses the light from the bulb to create subtle lighting for any living area. Made from two pieces of polypropylene sheet and reinforced thin aluminum legs, the lamp can be knocked down to a flat pack for easy packaging and shipping. Here’s how to assemble the lamp: The lamp is assembled by pushing the tabs on the top piece through the slots in the base and locking into place.
