http://www.lvacademytheatre.org/ David Rimmer, a Pulitzer Prize finalist author of Album, originally wrote New York to raise funds for volunteer psychiatrists dedicated to helping the overwhelming number of patients psychologically affected by 9/11. Depicting the reactions of 15 individuals to the events of that day, the characters all speak to a central psychiatrist, unburdening their wonder and pain with remarkable candor and humor. An engaging excercise for the serious young actor, this play brings forward the personal aftermath of the most startling and tragic terrorist event in our country's history.
