Dark Chocolate and Nutella Coconut Brownies. I’m not even sure what to say about these brownies.

Dark Chocolate and Nutella Coconut Brownies

Jon says they are my best ever. That’s saying a LOT, considering I’ve made some pretty freaking good brownies. The Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies were awesome. The Quintuple Chocolate Brownies were stellar. Minty brownies? So to say these are the best? Wow. They are remarkably fudgy, and full of rich, deep dark chocolate. You should get that nice flaky top that the best of the best brownies have, but you should also have a soft, not-even-close-to-cakelike fudgy bite. I hope you’ll give them a shot and let me know what you think! That’s my problem. If something has 9000 calories in it, I find a way to make it richer, denser, fatter. I’m a freakshow like that. Take these brownies, for example. They are BROWNIES. Whatever. Like I said, I didn’t sign anything. I can hear your arteries clogging from here…but oh, what a way to go. I named these morsels of sin Mississippi Mud Snapping Turtle Brownies because they combine two incredible treats: Mississippi Mud Brownies (Brownies with marshmallows, nuts, and a layer of chocolate on top), and Turtle Brownies (brownies with nuts and caramel). Enjoy them! Makes 20-24 1- Duncan Hines Turtle Brownie Box Mix, prepared1/4 cup Salted Caramel (in a pinch you can use ice cream topping)1 small jar Marshmallow Cream1 1/2 cups Marshmallows (I used GIANT ones, cut up)1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips1 tablespoon butter Preheat oven to 350.

Prepare an 8×8 baking pan with parchment or foil and leaving an overhanging edge for easier brownie removal. On another note… Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies. My sister loves red velvet.

Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies

Me, I never cared for it. I’m not sure why – it’s basically chocolate, gussied up with a little food coloring to make it prettier. Whose idea was that? I mean, the adding of the food coloring? It serves no real purpose really, purely aesthetics. So perhaps I never cared for red velvet based on its mediocre attempts at being pretty versus tasty. Whatever. I’m getting over it, thanks to these brownies. No joke, I will be using this recipe from here on out. Think chewy. I am in LOVE. And hence, the red. Do it. Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies.
