The history of SATAN the Devil. Sacred Geometry. Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret (2015) Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret is a groundbreaking feature-length environmental documentary following intrepid filmmaker Kip Andersen as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today – and investigates why the world’s leading environmental organizations are too afraid to talk about it. Animal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation, water consumption and pollution, is responsible for more greenhouse gases than the transportation industry, and is a primary driver of rainforest destruction, species extinction, habitat loss, topsoil erosion, ocean “dead zones,” and virtually every other environmental ill.

Yet it goes on, almost entirely unchallenged. As Andersen approaches leaders in the environmental movement, he increasingly uncovers what appears to be an intentional refusal to discuss the issue of animal agriculture, while industry whistleblowers and watchdogs warn him of the risks to his freedom and even his life if he dares to persist. EPA. Calendar Reform. 1.) Why fool with the calendar? There are enormous economic advantages to the proposed calendar. These benefits come because the new calendar is identical every year... except that, every five or six years, there is a one-week long "Mini-Month," called "Xtr (or Extra)," at the end of December. "Xtr (or Extra) Week" brings the calendar into sync with the seasonal change as the Earth circles the Sun. How much needless work do institutions, such as companies and colleges, put into arranging their calendars for every coming year?

From 2017 on, they do it once ... and it is done forevermore. 2.) Yes, starting 2017 January 1, it is proposed that Universal Time, on a 24 hour scale, be used, everywhere on earth, and forevermore. 3.) Yes ... but those folks live in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. 4.) If, for example, your birthday is March 7, it will ALWAYS fall on a Wednesday, for evermore. 5.) No, you can adopt it right now; but you need to persuade your neighbors to agree on the date. 6.) 7.)

Mithraism: Zoroastrian Gnosticism | The Dying God. The theory, originally proposed by Franz Cumont, that Mithraism evolved from Persian Zoroastrianism, is now generally dismissed.

However, the theory has not been carefully examined. A primitive version of the Mithraic mysteries certainly existed among them, as can be determined from circumstantial evidence, where they contributed heavily to the Greek traditions of Orphism, which not only later emerged as prominent themes in Mithraism, but of Hellenistic mysticism in general. While based on these earlier tradition, Mithraism nevertheless, modified during these times, to conform to these same Gnostic tendencies. The Magussaeans On all sides, the Persians were surrounded by nations that celebrated mysteries, by Egyptians to Isis and Osiris, the Syrians to Bel and Astarte, the Phrygians to Attis and Cybele, and the Greeks to Dionysus and Persephone.

Daeva-Worship Essentially, the Magussaeans were daeva worshipping Magi who practiced mystery rites dedicated to Mithras. Mithras-Hercules Endnotes. Quest of the Soul: The Eleusinian Mysteries by William A. Savage. Quest of the Soul: The Eleusinian Mysteries By William A. Savage [From a talk given at Theosophical Library Center, Altadena, CA, May 27, 2005.] In the mysteries that obtain among the Greeks, lustrations hold the first place. The Eleusinian mysteries were the most famous in ancient Greece. The rites at Eleusis were built around legends of the great mother Demeter and her daughter Persephone. Persephone, playing in a meadow, came across a large and wondrous narcissus. Demeter, filled with grief, was angry. Later Metaneira gave Demeter her baby to rear. Finally Zeus dispatched Hermes, guide of the souls of the dead, to entreat Hades to release Persephone.

Demeter, one of the twelve Olympian gods, represented the fruitfulness of the earth. *On Images, fragments 6, 7 Telesterion remains at Eleusis The site of the mysteries, Eleusis, was a coastal town just west of Athens where the Cephisus River pours into the Aegean Sea. It is unclear how frequently the Eleusinian mysteries were celebrated. The Corpus Hermeticum & Hermetic Tradition -- The Gnostic Society Library. Archive Notes In the following section we provide: IntroductionThe Hermetic tradition represents a non-Christian lineage of Hellenistic Gnosticism. The tradition and its writings date to at least the first century B.C.E., and the texts we possess were all written prior to the second century C.E. The surviving writings of the tradition, known as the Corpus Hermeticum (the "Hermetic body of writings") were lost to the Latin West after classical times, but survived in eastern Byzantine libraries.

Their rediscovery and translation into Latin during the late-fifteenth century by the Italian Renaissance court of Cosimo de Medici, provided a seminal force in the development of Renaissance thought and culture. These eighteen tracts of the Corpus Hermeticum, along with the Perfect Sermon (also called the Asclepius), are the foundational documents of the Hermetic tradition.

The texts presented here, below, are taken from the translation of G.R.S. -- Lance S. Owens Translation by G. The Kybalion Resource Page. The Hermetic Library at Gnostic Society Library: Sources on Gnosticism and Gnosis. Almost all of the several dozen internet sites with collections of texts similar to our own obtained their material by directly or indirectly copying some files present at the Gnosis Archive. Ours was perhaps the first major collection of such texts to appear on "the web" in 1994, and thus has served as a source for others creating "their own" collections. Unfortunately transcription errors, typos, and primitive HTML formatting were present in the massive amount of material added to the Gnosis Archive in our first years; in a repeated process of "copying" they have been very widely propagated around the internet.

Over nearly two decades we have made many corrections to these texts. It appears that few of the sites copying material from this collection have taken the time to read, edit and correct the texts! This is of course exactly how the manuscript tradition has propagated errors in the past centuries, though with vastly different technologies of reproduction. Origin of ‘As above, so below’ « Radiant woman. December 25, 2006 by radiantwoman A phrase like ‘As above, so below’ is used by writers and astrologers alike to explain why and how the world works. It seems a great concept that the visible stars in the sky are linked to life on earth. The microcosm and the macrocosm are connected. On the internet using Google I find 108 million hits for ‘As above, so below’. Together with astrology I get 858.000 hits. This interests me and I am curious. Who used these words and where do they come from?

Who is Hermes Trismegistus? Is good for almost 35.000 hits and seems a perfect name to investigate. In Hellenistic Egypt, the name of the god Hermes was given as a substitute for the Greek name of Thoth. In the Greek papyri an Egyptian Hermes Trismegistus is found. Hermetica Many hits on the internet connect Hermes Trismegistus with occult sciences, such as alchemy and astrology. Beside the wide range of Hermetic writings there are also hits on the Tabula Smargadina or Emerald Tablet. Like this: "As above, so below" Back to Home Page or Contents Page or Magic or Index "As above, so below" This phrase comes from the beginning of The Emerald Tablet and embraces the entire system of traditional and modern magic which was inscribed upon the tablet in cryptic wording by Hermes Trismegistus. The significance of this phrase is that it is believed to hold the key to all mysteries. All systems of magic are claimed to function by this formula.

"'That which is above is the same as that which is below'...Macrocosmos is the same as microcosmos. This message theorizes that man is the counterpart of God on earth; as God is man's counterpart in heaven. To the magician the magical act, that of causing a transformation in a thing or things without any physical contact, is accomplished by an imaginative act accompanied by the will that the wanted change will occur.
