Hand and Shears, Barbican, London pub guide | fancyapint? Cross Keys, Covent Garden, London pub guide | fancyapint? FancyaPint? 's review... The Cross Keys is a quaint, popular (especially with the media crowd hereabouts) little pub, on the periphery of Covent Garden, that does a good job of being a welcoming hostelry. Unlike many places in the area, The Cross Keys is pretty much unchanged over the years - the leafy, ornate exterior a familiar sight for the last few decades. There are some pretty good ales on the five hand pumps - Brodies being well represented in the current selection - and a pretty standard range of supporting beers, Guinness & Staropramen etc on tap.
