Apathy attended several high schools across the state including Willimantic, CT and Montville, CT in the early to mid-1990s.[3] Apathy used to rap as side hobby, but by 1991 started taking music as a career seriously. One day when Demigodz were playing at UConn's 971 radio station, they caught the attention of Apathy, who was still in his teens at the time. They became really good friends, and Apathy joined Demigodz.
