Boeing: Anti-gravity Propulsion Comes 'out Of The Closet' March 3, 2014 - Boeing, the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer, has admitted it is working on experimental anti-gravity projects that could overturn a century of conventional aerospace propulsion technology if the science underpinning them can be engineered into hardware.

Boeing: Anti-gravity Propulsion Comes 'out Of The Closet'

As part of the effort, which is being run out of Boeing’s Phantom Works advanced research and development facility in Seattle, the company is trying to solicit the services of a Russian scientist who claims he has developed anti-gravity devices in Russia and Finland. The approach, however, has been thwarted by Russian officialdom. The Boeing drive to develop a collaborative relationship with the scientist in question, Dr Evgeny Podkletnov, has its own internal project name: ‘GRASP’ — Gravity Research for Advanced Space Propulsion. A GRASP briefing document obtained by JDW sets out what Boeing believes to be at stake. W Norwegii powstaje statek na... wiatr. Traffic collision. A traffic collision, also known as a traffic accident, motor vehicle collision, motor vehicle accident, car accident, automobile accident, road traffic collision, road traffic accident, wreck (USA), car crash, or car smash (Australian) occurs when a vehicle collides with another vehicle, pedestrian, animal, road debris, or other stationary obstruction, such as a tree or utility pole.

Traffic collision

Traffic collisions may result in injury, death, vehicle damage, and property damage. A number of factors contribute to the risk of collision, including vehicle design, speed of operation, road design, road environment, driver skill and/or impairment, and driver behaviour. Worldwide, motor vehicle collisions lead to death and disability as well as financial costs to both society and the individuals involved. Terminology[edit] Traffic collision Traffic collisions can be classified by general type. Statistics released from study into the leading causes of fatal road accidents

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has analysed police data on 700,000 road traffic collisions from 2005 to 2009, in a bid to determine why these accidents occur. The study concluded that the most common cause of road accidents in the UK is ‘driver error or reaction’. Driver error or reaction which includes failing to look properly, losing control of the vehicle, failing to judge another driver’s path or speed and carrying out poor manoeuvres amounted to more than 65% of fatal road collisions. ‘Behaviour or inexperience’ was the third main category of accident and caused 28% of road accident fatalities. Adelaide creates world's first solar-powered public transport system

One impressive success story is the Tindo electric bus in Adelaide. Although many cities have experimented with using hybrid or electric technology in their public transport systems, this vehicle is the world’s first 100% solar-powered electric bus; and not only is it powered by the sun, but this service is also offered free of charge. Named after an Aboriginal word for “sun”, the Tindo was designed to be part of the Adelaide Connector Bus service, a free service run by the City Council. What makes the bus unique from other solar-powered vehicles is that there aren’t any solar panels physically on the vehicle. These provide enough energy to allow the bus to run freely from the city centre and the North Adelaide, and will also offer air conditioning and WiFi to its 40 passengers.

As Google did earlier last year also, automotive supplier Continental received Nevada’s “Autonomous Vehicle Testing License” – a state approval from the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to test automated driving on the state’s public roads. Continental’s testing license is for the company’s highly automated vehicle, and represents the first license granted by the Nevada DMV to an automotive supplier. “At Continental, we continue to invest in research and development for next generation technologies – such as our highly automated vehicle – that will drive us toward a safer, more efficient and more comfortable future,” said Dr. Elmar Degenhart, chairman of the executive board of Continental. Nanyang Technological University’s Energy Research Institute has teamed up with vehicle manufacturer Induct to produce an eight-passenger autonomous electric vehicle that can travel at speeds of up to 20 km/hr. The two-year trial is the first of its kind in the region, and NTU is using it to test new technologies to reduce charging times. The vehicle being tested is an eight-seat electric shuttle produced by Induct called the NAVIA. Pinterest. Tube Transport Tech. Sieć dronów do przesyłania rzeczy tańsza niż kolej lub drogi - wideo.
