Time. It's time to embrace software's auto-update era | Deep Tech. Driven by Google and like-minded software makers, a new era is dawning in which your software is constantly refreshed--often without any intervention on your part at all. Depending on how you see things, that could be either a scary loss of control over your own computer or a boon to convenience and security. Either way, the practice is increasingly common. So, anyway, what's in the mix as the financials come up this week? Windows 7: check. Within the Windows 7 reviews, there's going to be a point-of-view that the operating system is dead, which is, ah, kinda dumb. Kindle? Windows Live is supposed to help with building value via rich applications. Joy. Windows 8: speaking of planning! Office: hey, hey, hey, there's a Beta on the way. Mobile: Holy. Look. And I'm going to buy an iPhone. I hate it. Start Your Online App with FairSoftware.
