I was able to resolve this and get locks again by following the steps below. (This has also been confirmed by Atantian that it fixes GPS when going from the GB leak back down to 2.2.2) dial 1809#*999# Scroll down to GPS Test Check Use Extended Conf File (this will be for gps.conf in /data/gps which I will include with the Bionix 2 release) Click System Settings Check Use XTRAS Click SUPL Setting Click SLP Server Setting Here, you can test for best results. I am using the Spirent server Hit back x3 Click Get Position Hit Menu Click Settings Session Type> Single Fix Oper Mode > MS-Based Hit Back Go outside in a clear view Hit Menu Hit Start. You should be good to go. Once done, you can grab GPS Test from the market and should have instant locks. If my post helped you, be sure to click the Thanks button. When I upgraded to 1.04 EB Froyo version, I noticed that the GPS lock was a little slow. It reminded me of the old HD2 when I installed android on it. There was some great work done to write a GPS.conf file that speeds up the lock. Out of curiosity I dug up the thread on the HD2 android forum and gave it a try. Some people are having some luck with Gingerbread as well. The thread is here. The original FTP site these were hosted on has some uptime problems.
