The rapper appeared on stage as a very realistic, 3D-animated holograph for two songs. “What up, Coachella?” Shakur shouted to fans, then proceeded to perform alongside Dr. Dre and Snoop. The hologram, shown in the video above, appears to be synced with a series of audio clips from past live performances. ( Note: Some of the language is strong, and may be NSFW, so keep your headphones plugged in.) Although several albums have been released after Tupac’s death in 1996, including a biographical documentary that came out in 2003, this is a first for his live performances.
