favit
My first impression was that this site wasn't what I was looking for at the moment, but it looked like it might be good for someone more interested in the social aspect. Unfortunately, the more I tried using it, the more terrible it appeared to be. I wish I could delete my account entirely, but it doesn't have that option. There's no way to leave feedback on the site, either, though they do have a Twitter. Nor is there any kind of guide or help beyond the intro video. I could go on about all the ways the site is crap, but I've already wasted enough time on it. by Jan 12
feedlooks
Looks nice, but loading a page for each post I want to read takes too long. by Jan 12
netvibes
As a feed reader, it looks good, but it's just too slow. by Jan 12
NewsBlur
On the one hand, it does have the kind of expanded view I want. On the other hand, the font is too small and the frame too wide for comfortable reading, and the whole thing feels clunky. Plus, it has a limit of 64 feeds. by Jan 12
Bloglines
The new Bloglines is just Netvibes with the Bloglines logo. You can even login to Bloglines with your preexisting Netvibes password. This should have been made clear right on the front page. I guess it's not surprising that it isn't, but I can't believe that the information wasn't easier to find in a Google search. by Jan 12
