Barcelona will always have a special place in my heart. It´s the city where I learnt to live on my own, I learnt I could do anything I wanted in life and gave me so much positive energy! Maybe that´s why when we decided to do this video we chose Barcelona as the perfect place: Youthful, happy and exciting, just like this a/w Lacoste L!
Towards the end of May, I was invited to Singapore for its premier tradeshow, Blueprint. To the best of my knowledge, Blueprint uniquely specialises in launching cruise collections and thankfully curates fresh and forward menswear alongside womenswear, jewellery and accessories from emerging designers destined for international markets. Showcasing one hundred and twenty brands from eighteen countries, Blueprint is a fashion trade gateway for East-West exchange. Over the course of a few hectic days, I explored this lively Asia based platform dedicated to Singaporean and regional design talent and encountered a few gems in the process.

Back on that hectic day in February and in the relative tranquil of Savile Row, Claire Malcolm showed her debut collection for the historic and royally patronised house Hardy Amies . For AW11, the design talent explored a period of Sir Hardy’s life in which he was a particularly prominent figure on the European society circuit in the 1930s. In a widely acclaimed show, and in the true spirit of Sir Hardy himself, no detail was left unconsidered. The show unveiled the fruits of a collaboration with Edward Green .
