Hi Seth, it seems you have some questions that have gone unanswered. To thicken epoxy we use a thickening agent. In order to obtain clear thickened epoxy you can pour out a given amount of resin then add only about 1/4 of the necessary hardener, keeping the other 3/4 for later. The only tint I have used is black and when used in a large enough quantity it does a good job.
