Make Film Work

The moon in transit, moving in real time across the frame. By “real time” I mean that the tripod was locked down and the camera was stationary, pointing at one point in the sky. All the movement here is caused by the motion of the earth and the moon. I’ve been reading a lot about the new Final Cut Pro X and how managing source files and projects can be a bit of a pain. Most notably, that there’s no (logical/easy) way to reconnect media that’s been moved to another drive. http://www.makefilmwork.com/

The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), previously known as the Teaching Development Centre and the Centre for Academic Technologies, has moved into its new space in Library 610! Using an EOS 10D and a 4×5 Super Graphic to rephotograph my black and white photographs, the first thematically related group of pictures I reached for were these images of people living on the streets of the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Learning Interchange 2007 - Why Podcast?

The Apple Learning Interchange closed on September 3, 2010. We invite you to visit iTunes U and the following resources to continue learning and collaborating with other educators. Over 800 universities have active iTunes U sites, and nearly half of these institutions — including Stanford, Yale, MIT, Oxford, and UC Berkeley — distribute their content publicly on the iTunes Store. In addition, cultural and education institutions, such as the Library of Congress, public broadcasting organizations, and state departments of education, also contribute to this growing educational content repository that includes over 350,000 free lectures, audiobooks, lesson plans, and more. iTunes U is the ideal resource for educators who want to gain insight into curriculum being taught worldwide, get access to primary resources, and find inspiration for enhancing teaching and learning with technology.
