There is no continuity either in selected color values or in color names, and many color triplets have multiple names. However, it is very useful to graphic designers. I personally find it equivalent to color systems used in print-albeit with a limited color range. You can use this page like a handy swatch library while writing CSS, or you can load it on your smartphone and use it as a handy reference. How cool is that!
