#SomeoneTellCNN trends worldwide, forces CNN to apologise. Diggdigg #SomeoneTellCNN took off speedily on Twitter this Sunday, as Kenyans in and around the world accused US news channel, CNN, of sensational reporting bulletin banner that read “violence in Kenya”.
The banner accompanied a report on an Al-Shabaab grenade attack on a Nairobi bus station, that killed six people on Saturday. The anguish further forced the news channel to apologize to Kenyans and pull down a video report on suspected terrorist bombing that took place in downtown Nairobi.
