I started thinking about different ways I could add a peplum to an article of clothing as a DIY, but a few other bloggers have done similar DIYs....instead I chose to make a peplum that is not attached to anything. I also took into consideration that a lot of my blog readers don't sew and made this project a no sew DIY! DIY cut out shirt. I’m sure that like me, you might have a shirt in your closet that feels bored and abandoned …Let’s give it a twist to make it a statement piece for the season!

With a few simple steps, you can make these holes in your shirt to give it a much more interesting look and you don’t need a sewing machine! I haven't seen anything similar since so I decided to make my own version for the summer. The best thing is it only takes 10 minutes and there is no sewing involved.
