Mazda Service Brisbane : Mazda BT50 Head Gasket Issue - Northside Automotive. We had a MAZDA serviced (BT50 4WD, 2009 model) at the workshop this week.
This is a 3L Turbo Diesel with a leaking head gasket issue caused by a water pump malfunction. This story is a perfect example of how quickly small problems can escalate into critical ones. In the case of this Mazda, the owner noticed that the engine was running hotter than normal and that coolant was receding from the coolant reservoir. Thinking this was normal he topped the coolant up regularly to keep the engine temperature under control.
The problem was that the water pump was leaking at the seal, leading to a loss of coolant within the system. Because coolant is a liquid and can’t be compressed, further serious damage to the conrod took place, bending it and preventing it from begin able to and compress the fuel properly. The end result was an engine rebuild job and a very expensive repair. Better safe than sorry. NORTHSIDE HOLDEN SERVICE:

Hot Yoga Brisbane - Active Life Fitness Everton Hills. Duration Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 60 mins Sunday: 75 mins Hot yoga is designed to increase the body temperature to improve flexibility and remove toxins through the sweat, bend and twist.
What is different between our hot yoga and a Bikram or Power yoga class, is that we do not follow a short sequence which is repeated over and over, and our classes are not ‘power yoga’ meaning we subscribe to the traditional yoga practice, but in a controlled heated environment. Our hot yoga class in Brisbane is a mix of Vinyasa flow and Hatha yoga, meaning that there are both fluid moving sequences, as well as still postures which require holding for longer periods of time. Hot yoga is a combination of cardio, strength work and stretching, with a relaxation sequence at the end. Each hot yoga Brisbane class allows participants to work at their own level regardless if they are absolute beginners who have never tried a class, right up to seasoned yogis.

DIY - Checking Your Car Engine Oil Level - Northside Automotive. Checking your engine oil level is very important.
Ideally, you will check the level once a week to ensure you do not have a leak, or that the car engine is not burning the fuel away. It is easy to identify your oil level meter as in most car engines now, the dip stick will be labeled in yellow. It is important to note that before you check the oil, the car engine must be off and the car needs to be on level ground.
To ensure the oil level is correct, you must first pull the dip stick out and wipe it. Once you have cleaned the dip stick, dip the clean dip stick back in a second time. When you look at the bottom of the dip stick, you are looking for where the oil sits in relation to the two points at the bottom of the stick.
