Ah bah voilà, enfin des news ! On a pris 15 kilos chacun (surtout moi) mais on commence à sentir l'été approcher, avec le temps libre, et une douce brise de 45° qui s'ajoute à la chaleur des PC. Bref, avec tout le bordel qui se prépare, les déménagements, la fin du film en rush, et tout le bordel, on se dit qu'il vaut mieux commencer dès maintenant à faire un peu de pub, histoire de peut-être trouver un job avant d'être contraints de manger des rats à même les poubelles d'Arles.

This is a tin that my birth Mum gave to me long ago. It's been the place that I keep many of my miniature things, like a small coin & stamp collection, little plastic toys and random bits of my life, past and present.. It was the first Rockwell I'd ever seen.. It was also the first painted illustration, where in that magical pre-digital moment, begged my young mind to determine whether it'was a photograph or not as well.. It remains on my desk as encouragement to strive for my next level of skill..

The new book is printed in german an will be presented at the comic festival in munich from 23. - 26. june. I will have an exhibition at the "Künstlerhaus am Lenbachplatz" in munich during that time and will sign my comic on all four days from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Künstlerhaus, so i hope to see you there. I´m looking forward to meet fellows and great artists like Emmanuel Lepage, Miguelanxo Prado, Juanjo Guarnido, Diaz Canalez, Tim Sale, Reinhard Kleist, Isabel Kreitz, Christian Moser and many many more.

Although I doubt that Leonardo would have designed an airship the way it is shown below, the idea behind it isn't as far-fetched as one would assume... In 1783 the Montgolfier brothers had made a public demonstration of a hot air balloon in order to establish their claim to its invention. King Louis XVI proposed to launch two criminals, but it is most likely that the inventors decided to send 3 living beings, not the Musketeers :) but a sheep, a duck, and a rooster. The flight lasted 8 minutes, covered two miles, and obtained an altitude of about 1,500 feet.
