Supported by the European Commission through the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) for the MEDEA:EU project (2008-2011) and the MEDEA2020 project (2010-2012), this prize highlights the value of cross-border collaboration and aims to recognise the impact such collaboration can have in increasing understanding and enhancing the European dimension.
“Horizon 2020” is the winner of our "You Name it" online vote to name the future EU-funding programme for research and innovation. The full name of the legislative proposal for the new programme will therefore be: "Horizon 2020 - the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation". The competition winners are Marcela Endlova, a teacher from the Czech Republic, and Beata Zyngier, also a teacher, from Poland.
