This past weekend, I spoke at the I_Blog Conference in Iowa. It was a nice change from my normal routine which usually consists of sitting behind the computer cranking out words. I’ve had several people ask for access to my presentation which is titled Pitch from Your Passion: Get Paid to Write about What You Love . The premise is…while the publication industry is changing there are still opportunities out there and don’t be afraid to look online and get creative in your endeavors. Also, don’t forget about utilizing your blog to help you make partnerships, too. There are a number of online publications where pay for writers is decent and there are a number of alternative-pay opportunities (pay-per-click, impressions, etc.).
