The World Bank's Human Development Network is strongly committed to results. Our work includes supporting strong project-oriented monitoring and evaluation components, including cost analysis; strengthening client country capacity to carry out monitoring and evaluation; and building an evidence base on what works to improve human development through rigorous impact evaluation studies. We currently administer two funds devoted to supporting impact evaluations of programs designed to help alleviate poverty and to improve people’s lives in the areas of health, nutrition, education and social protection. Strategic Impact Evaluation Fund The Strategic Impact Evaluation Fund is a multi-donor trust fund launched in March 2012 to carry out and support research evaluating the impact of programs to help people achieve better lives.
