This change is simply an attempt to open source software developers to redesign their applications to fit into the vision of how software should be designed rather than how the rest of the community designs software. Under this restriction, Jupiter will no longer work starting with Ubuntu Natty because I do not believe Jupiter needs to be rewritten to fit the Ubuntu mold when it already works fine for all other distributions in which it is supported and used. That said however, I have installed Natty for the purpose of building a simple utility to whitelist ANY notification area icon .. I call it simply "whitelist".
