Under the lens of director Alexandre Baena, from Multi Amazônia Brasil Produtora, I am one of the characters of the documentary “Criativa”, which will approach the creative process of seven women in their respective fields: theater (Wlad Lima), photography (Walda Marques) fine arts (Eliene Tenório), music (Aíla Iaiá), fashion (Grazi Ribeiro), audiovisual (Melissa Barbery) and design (myself).
The first scenes were shot in Belém / PA, my hometown, where I told a bit about my childhood and influences. And so this intensive parenting may have started in the, you know, middle and upper-middle class, but it has since filtered through different layers of society, where I talked to people who had just gotten off of welfare, who were also feeling if they couldn’t do that kind of hyper-parenting, they were feeling really guilty about it….
