We're excited to be the first to report the official details on the release of Thor: Tales of Asgard, an original animated adventure coming to Blu-ray combo pack, DVD, digital download and on demand from Marvel Animation and Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
Following up the May release of the live-action theatrical feature Thor, Tales of Asgard will be released on May 17, 2011. Packed with special features like audio commentaries with the creators, a "making-of" featurette and a bonus TV episode of The Avengers, Thor: Tales of Asgard will come to Blu-ray combo pack and DVD for the suggested retail prices of $29.99 and $19.98, respectively. The story will go back to Thor's earlier years, before he ever lifted his mighty hammer.
