I have moved the previous The Mind connectome into Version 001.
*The Idea*
In order to creative Version 002, please continue to add any/all TEDtalks into the main The Mind tree. (Duplicates are Good!) by docein Nov 23
We like feedback and in doing so will give it and advice to those that help us out that join us as well. by paranomralparodies Nov 12
Welcome! And thank you to those of you who have been adding to this Tree. I have had little time to curate this section and greatly appreciate any changes you make. Keep up the great work! by docein Nov 9
Merci pour l'invitation, j'aime beaucoup les conférences de TED, bonne journée à tous sur la planète Pearltrees ! Have a good day, or night ! by shuishui Nov 5
Hi Georgia Peach - nice to see you've picked The Mind. Docien started this Pearl based on TED Talks and a little team joined in to curate the patch. I'm interested in Emergence (what Mind is to Brain) and the quantum levels beyond Thought that give rise to Meaning. by pauljacobson May 11
@docein Some people have multiple peartrees named almost the same thing . So they would have been aware of the TED criteria initially but later are browsing and pearl what they see as just " the Mind " not " The Mind @TED " or what ever would give them a clue .
With the pearls themselves . Ive been trying to distinguish them by writing short simple descriptives like "Nano Wire@TED " I think the overall topic is more important then the person speaking . But I guess that partly depends on who's speaking ;-) Could sort by speaker also . by mirlen101 Feb 15
@mirlen101, I definitly see you point. However, If they create an account, and then wish to team up on a pearltree, I would Hope that team members would look at the content of the pearltree, as well as look at the root pearl. The controls can be a bit confusing at times, and some may miss that this is a part of a much larger pearltree, but that is OK. I get updates whenever a pearl is added, as do all of the team members, and we can, as a group, ensure that the pearls remain relevant and also guide the team members with the conversations we have here. :) On the same note, I have been mulling over the idea of putting TED in the name of some of the pearltrees, but it just doesn't look quite right. If you have any suggestions on how to make this system work better, I would love the help :). by docein Feb 14
@docein a person surfing the web picks a pearl . They aren't looking at the pearltree . They see "The Mind " not "TED" . There is no obvious TED reference beyond the red "T" on all the pearls . It may seem obvious to you but not others who are not seeing the pearltree at all . They are browsing the web and pressing the pearltree " The Mind " that's all they see the words " The Mind " by mirlen101 Feb 14
Reminder, lets keep the pearls TED specific in these pearltrees :) by docein Feb 14
@mirlin101 yeah i know that now about the email thing and @ostarr i think your idea sounds brilliant. i have a lot of stories myself and would like to read about other peoples experiences by gboyle2001 Feb 14
