Les caricatures d'un policier de l'université de Californie accusé d'avoir aspergé de gaz au poivre sans raison des manifestants anti-Wall Street se multiplient sur Internet, et des pirates informatiques d'Anonymous ont diffusé lundi ses coordonnées personnelles. L'agent avait vaporisé vendredi, de très près et parfois directement sur le visage, à plusieurs reprises, un gaz orange sur des manifestants tranquillement assis par terre.
Deux étudiants ont été brièvement hospitalisés après avoir reçu du gaz et neuf ont été traités sur place, ont indiqué des responsables de l'université. Dans la vraie vie, ce policier pourrait avoir à affronter des ennemis moins coriaces mais plus nombreux, après la diffusion lundi de son adresse postale, de son courriel et de ses numéros de téléphone dans une vidéo YouTube attribuée à Anonymous.
