She takes inspiration from medieval comics, environmental apocalyptic science fiction, modernist architecture and Hieronymus Bosch’s vision of the after life. Combine all these crazy elements into one and out comes strange looking sea creatures, a male-female hybrid (not forgetting the fox on a stick) and an angry Blue Beard you wouldn’t want to mess with.
