This is looking way better! :-)
Cool stuff. by semperfi Dec 9
Well, since I'm following this pearltree and possibly not your other one, then it does effectively remove it from my pearltrees (from my perspective).
You can always duplicate the pearltree you authored (and moved pearls from here to it) and move that pearltree into this pearltree -- effectively re-adding the pearls, and adding organization to this pearltree. by semperfi Dec 9
What about if I move it from this one to a different tree in mine, does it effectively delete it on yours? And sure it does, we just have so much of it where I live more information gets redundant. by rainbowgirl Dec 9
Yes. With team pearltrees, we're all in this together.
When you think of "survival" - guns/ammo information doesn't even cross your mind? by semperfi Dec 9
I'm sorry. I see construction and guns/ammo information as pointless because of where I live, and the EMT because of where I work. I didn't realize that it deleted it on yours as well. So again, I apologize. Does it do any change I make to this tree in mine, on yours as well? by rainbowgirl Dec 9
Yes, same topics, different perspectives, I like this, gets me out of the box:) by aralb Dec 9
thanks aralb. i'm just adding things as i come across them. looks like a lot of great stuff has been added. it's nice that it has been growing without me having to do anything. i wasn't sure what to make of this whole team thing. by starfishandlatte Dec 9
It's been great working as a team around a common interest ;) you guys come up with really interesting information. I rearranged the pearl tree to make it easier for everyone to find what they are looking for,and tried to group some of the topics together . Feel free to change it around as new information is added! Happy Pearling!
Oh btw, I didn't delete any of the contributions whatsoever, just rearranged food and bug out bag sub pearls to have them all in the same area;) by aralb Dec 9
As a tip: I like to start by creating a new pearltree in my own 'Home' pearltree and naming it a topic using specific keywords. The topic could be specific or broad and on any subject you desire. Because you are creating the new pearltree in your own Home pearltree (which is your username), it's yours as you are the author. You can then start adding pearls to it, which are URLs.
Then you can begin adding other pearltrees and/or pearls from other people. For example, you could add a pearltree you create to this pearltree (team survival/backpack) if it makes sense to do so. Sometimes you will join teams, other times you just follow the pearltree because it's interesting to you. Others may even follow you because they find your pearltree interesting. by semperfi Dec 9
Still learning how this Pearl system works. Ill try to add more than I take away.
