These maps created by Eric Fischer combine data from the photo-sharing website Flickr and the micro-blogging network Twitter. The orange dots represent pictures uploaded to Flickr, while the blue dots are tweets, and the white dots represent locations that have been both tweeted and uploaded to Flickr. On this world map, you can see that people tweet most in North America, Britain, the Netherlands and Japan, as expected, while scenic areas such as Iceland, Scotland, New Zealand and the game reserves in Africa see more photographic activity. Orange dots = Flickr photos; blue = tweets; white dots = both Picture: Eric Fischer

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/twitter/8638292/Amazing-maps-show-Twitter-and-Flickr-activity-around-the-world.html
