We were so inspired by the simplicity of our brightly tie-dyed beach blanket, that we wondered if it could be as simple and quick to tie-dye shorts in vibrant colors.

Following the traditional tie-dye instructions (get the item wet, put on the color, let dry, wash in cold water), the hardest part is waiting for them to dry. Step 1: Gather your supplies: tie-dye kit + white shorts. Step 2: Wet your shorts (following the tie-dye kit's instructions). Step 3: Apply color, let dry, and wash. And to kick things off we thought a cool DIY project for some awesome ombre dip dyed denim shorts was in order. Inspired by summer and the awesome job Yume from Ninja Sovereign did on her ombre denim shorts, heres the how to so you to can make your own dip dyed denim shorts! First, grab a pair of denim shorts from your closet or thrift a pair that could use some sprucing up. Next, get some fabric dyes in the colors of your choice.
