Norrköping Art Museum, Norrköpings kommun. The museum’s history began with a generous donation by Swedish industrialist Pehr Swartz at the beginning of the 20th century. His donation of several hundred art works was exhibited in Villa Swartz, which was then both a museum and a library. In the autumn of 1946 Norrköping Museum was inaugurated at Kristinaplatsen. Exhibitions about the city’s history were presented in the galleries with a low ceiling height, and art works were exhibited in the other galleries.
The building was designed by Kurt von Schmalensee and in 1963–64 he added the Harlekinen auditorium. In the 1980’s the museum became an art museum. In 1997 the art museum was renovated inside and out. In the façade facing the sculpture park to the south, the rows of windows were replaced with three bay windows, which created better conditions for exhibiting the art works in the galleries. The Archaeological Museum of Olympia, one of the most important museums in Greece, presents the long history of the most celebrated sanctuary of antiquity, the sanctuary of Zeus, father of both gods and men, where the Olympic games were born. The museum's permanent exhibition contains finds from the excavations in the sacred precinct of the Altis dating from prehistoric times to the Early Christian period. Among the many precious exhibits the sculpture collection, for which the museum is most famous, the bronze collection, the richest collection of its type in the world, and the large terracottas collection, are especially noteworthy.
The museum building comprises exhibition rooms, auxiliary spaces and storerooms. The vestibule and twelve exhibition rooms contain objects excavated in the Altis. The auxiliary spaces (caf? , lavatories) are located in the museum's east wing; a separate building between the museum and the archaeological site houses a book and souvenir shop.

The National Archaeological Museum is the largest museum in Greece and one of the world's great museums. Although its original purpose was to secure all the finds from the nineteenth century excavations in and around Athens, it gradually became the central National Archaeological Museum and was enriched with finds from all over Greece. Its abundant collections, with more than 20,000 exhibits, provide a panorama of Greek civilization from the beginnings of Prehistory to Late Antiquity.
The museum is housed in an imposing neoclassical building of the end of the nineteenth century, which was designed by L. Lange and remodelled by Ernst Ziller. The museum possesses a rich photographic archive and a library with many rare publications, the latter of which is constantly enriched to meet the needs of the research staff. There are also modern conservation laboratories for metal, pottery, stone and organic materials, a cast workshop, a photographic laboratory and a chemistry laboratory.

Aineen taidemuseo on aktiivinen kuvataiteen kohtauspaikka Torniossa. Yleisölle tarjotaan mm. kokoelmanäyttelyitä, vaihtuvia näyttelyitä, työpajoja ja luentoja. Aineen taidemuseo syntyi kahden yksityisen henkilön, Eila (s.1920) ja Veli (s.1919-2008) Aineen rakkaudesta taiteeseen. Eila ja Veli Aineen vuosikymmeniä jatkunut taiteen systemaattinen keräily johti Aineen Kuvataidesäätiön perustamiseen vuonna 1974 ja vuonna 1986 avattuun Aineen taidemuseon syntymiseen.
Aineen taidemuseo on Tornion kaupungin omistama ja ylläpitämä taidemuseo, jonne on pysyvästi sijoitettu Aineen Kuvataidesäätiön omistama suomalaisen taiteen kokoelma. Taidemuseossa on myös muita kokoelmia, osa on Aineen Kuvataidesäätiön, osa Aineen taidemuseon, osa Tornion kaupungin omistuksessa. Osa kokoelmista on saatu lahjoituksina. Perusnäyttelyt kootaan Aineen Kuvataidesäätiön ja Aineen taidemuseon kokoelmista. Aineen taidemuseorakennuksen on suunnitellut torniolainen arkkitehti Matti Porkka. Osin uusittu kokoelmanäyttely. Edward Saidi Tingatinga (1932–1972) Edward Saidi Tingatinga was born in 1932 in a village called Namochelia, in southern Tanzania. A village by that name no longer exists. His paintings were made using recycled, low-cost materials, such as masonite squares, ceramic fragments, and bicycle paint. Eventually, Tingatinga's paintings became very popular among European residents and tourists, so that he was able to work full-time as an artist. The Tingatinga Arts Cooperative Society After Tingatinga's death, his followers Ajaba Abdallah Mtalia, Adeusi Mandu, January Linda, Casper Tedo, Simon Mpata, and Omari Amonde organized with the relatives of Tingatinga.
