Lehi Valley Trading Company's in-house creative team has created a new brand of "everyday gourmet" popcorn: Crave Canyon . This fun, bold brand is driven by Chef G., the adventuristic, but elusive, creator of each flavor. He combs the globe for new ingredients and flavor profiles.
What a lovely design for Nubes De Yogur, a line of fruit yogurt smoothies from Barcelona. According to the designer, the brand's name translates to Clouds of Yogurt, and that concept is reflected in the design. "The project was created for a few smoothies of fruits for the brand Romantics.
*notcot in food+drink , 15:31 Sometimes even more fascinating than packaging design is watching how it evolves and becomes more engaging and usable! Well on packages awaiting when i got back from SDCC - there was a case of these redesigned Activate Drinks .
*notcot in food+drink , 16:25 Packaging based impulse shopping strikes again… This time i gave in and bought the Neurogasm, Neurobliss, Neurosonic, and Neurotrim . This strangely curvy soda bottle has an awesome cap, yet for some reason it kind of feels like it should be a bottle of body wash? Not sure about the flavors yet, but noteworthy packaging… see more details on the next page! Apparently Neurogasm used to be for sexual performance… now the bottle just says body performance… not sure i like the branding packaging of the website and other packaging, but still finding this bottle shape interesting…
*notcot in food+drink , 23:20 Tast.es: Disposable Elements For Catering - firstly, awesome use of the .es domain - secondly, the Conran ROJO launch was incredible, and i have still yet to do a proper post on it, there was so much, it’s all coming out in pieces… strangely enough i actually indulged in some of the various catering finger foods coming around simply so i could poke at the beautifully designed mini dishes they were served in! How cute is this soup bowl/shot glass? It looked so strange and possibly uncomfortable to sip from, but honestly its curvature was perfect to put your lips up to and have the soup slide right in (no embarrassing dribbles or anything of that sort).
