Touch Systems US - Media Center: 3M Adds 22” Chassis to MicroTouch Display Product Line
3M Surface Capacitive Technology in an exciting new form factor 3M Touch Systems Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of 3M, today announced the launch of the 3M MicroTouch Display C2234SW. The C2234SW touch display combines a 22-inch high-definition, wide viewing angle, wide aspect-ratio LCD display with 3M Surface Capacitive touch technology in a robust metal chassis housing. 3M Surface Capacitive Technology (3M SCT) provides superior durability and 91.5% light transmission which makes it a preferred touch solution in public access and heavy-use environments for gaming, entertainment, self-service, and financial applications. “With the release of the C2234SW display, 3M offers system integrators a rugged and robust touch display solution for their demanding applications,” says Chris Tsourides, business manager, 3M Touch Systems.
